Last time I flew, I had to check my guitar at the gate. Same scenario: d-bag flight attendant unwilling to do anything to help. I'm always amazed at the people that deal with customers. Why would a company tolerate people that literal force people to take their business elsewhere?

Also, I tagged you in a blog game thing. Check it out: http://www.classicalguitarblog.net/2009/02/7-things-about-me/

Hey Steve,

Nice blog - I'm a guitarist, as well as a photographer, so enjoyed reading a few of your posts.

What I'm replying to you about though is your blog has been spammed/hacked. If you 'View Source' for your pages, you'll find, at the bottom, a long, long list of links to viagra, cialis, etc .. It's common thing in Wordpress blogs. You might want to check the WP forums if you need help cleaning it out. It requires removing a few files from your directories, DEFINITELY change your password, and upgrade to the newest version of WP. My blog got hacked the same way a month or so ago, I cleaned it up, etc, but didn't upgrade, and it got hacked again - the same thing as what's going on with yours. I upgraded and hopefully that'll help protect it. You should find a number of threads on the WP forums about this kind of thing.

One of the things that alerted me to this, because you don't see the links on your blog page just in the source code, is that google dropped my blog. If google rank is important to you, definitely clean it up, before they drop your site. It's a hassle.

If you need any help, email me - I'm not a tech guy or anything, but having done it twice I can possibly help out if you have any trouble.

Here is a thread I posted on WP about it recently.

Google pills viadrene images and your site comes up on page 6.

Cheers

The Hilltown Families House Concert Series hosted Steve Lin in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains for an intimate night of classical guitar music. Steve is a musician of the highest caliber, enchanting our audience members with both his music and engaging explanations of the music he performed. We look forward to inviting Steve back for a future engagement.

Hi Steve - I'm thinking of tyring to put on some kind of guitar-a-thon fundraiser here in my little home town. If you have any information or experience (warnings) you could share with me that would be awesome.

And hey! - I used to be in the BCGS! Right around '92 - where you present then? Berit Strong was president. I moved back home to Louisiana in '93.

Regards,
Luke

I was in the audience at this performance. You were charming when you spoke to us en espagnol, and your performance was outstanding. You're much too modest - judging by audience reaction, they overwhelmingly preferred your half of the concert. And, yes, the atmosphere here in the Yucatan is as intoxicating as the mojitos. One perfect night after another, in a city that loves and supports music. I hope you return soon.
